how to prep prints

Mount prints on either 11x14 or 16x20 mat boards (see below). Labels with title-name-date are placed in the upper left-hand corner on the back of the board. Entry forms are filled out for each category and placed on top of that category's entries and submitted on night of competition no later than 6:45 pm.

small color prints

Any size color print that fits on an 11x14 mat board. Note: This is the only competition category that is divided into Class A & Class B. First-year members usually are in Class B; however you may choose which class to enter ... and you will remain in that class for the entire club year.

large color prints

Any size color print that fits on a 16x20 mat board.

small monochrome prints

Any size monochrome print that fits on a 11x14 mat board. Note: absolutely no secondary color is allowed.

specials prints

Any size color or monochrome print that fits on an 11x14 mat board.

Note: Photo subjects for this category are specific subjects selected by members' votes in January for the Special's competition the following club year starting in October. Photos must be taken no earlier than that January up to the time they are submitted for competition..

Entry labels are provided by the club. Mat boards may be purchased from club at nominal cost.

Note: For each month's print competitions, you may enter up to 4 images in each print category; no more than 16 entries per category for the entire club year.
